Yes, we all have a MLM company that we build today. That means we actually do the same things that we teach, so we know we are teaching what works. We get feedback from the group, so we know we teach what works for the masses, not just certain people.
Anybody can complicate this business, but it takes a genius to simplify it.
You have to have aProven Duplicable MLM System for the masses to succeed. Most systems that use these words are not proven or duplicable for more than a small percentage of people. When a system works for 3% only, then 97% are not accounted for. They don’t all fail at the system because some never do anything but what you have is a system that duplicates failure. Oh, and they proved it too.
Life is a unique combination of “want to” and “how to,” and we need to give equal attention to both.
How many times have you heard people talk about the people they sponsor? They aren’t doing anything, they aren’t sponsoring, they aren’t retailing, they aren’t prospecting, they aren’t motivated. It goes on an on.
When you sponsored them, did they have the “want to”? Unless you SOLD them they had it. They wanted to join you. They wanted to build the business. They wanted to spend the money to join. They wanted to leave that dead end job behind. They wanted to live the network marketing lifestyle.

What would it look like?
Something Simple? That would eliminate most of the new ones coming out. They are hard to figure sometimes just how good they may be. The simple ones, they can be figured out easily but most people still miss a lot because they don’t know what to look for and how it affects them. But the simple one’s usually don’t look so great to us.
How about a particular type? Binary, uni-level and more? No, that doesn’t do it. You can make any of them great by doing the right things with them. They can all be made to be horrible too.
But what makes one the best? The best for you. Are you the superstar or the newbie part timer? Does it matter?
There are companies that tell you straight out in the MLM policies and procedures just how tuff they are going to make things for you. I guess they just figure you will never read it any way.
Several companies have statements like,
[Company] may terminate a distributor for any reason or no reason at all.
If you read that, I hope you are smart enough to run the other way.
But a lot of companies like to hide what they tell you. Put it so you don’t understand it when you read it. Like this.
[Company] reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Distributorship at any time for cause…
Usually they tell you right before this, lot’s of reasons they could terminate you. And those reasons usually make sense. Then they add the one above.
There is one word in there that you may not understand. A simple looking word.
Keep in mind that your mlm policies and procedures are a legal contract. What does that little word “cause” mean in legal terms?
From Black’s Law Dictionary, page 212 of the 7th eddition, says “CAUSE – Something that produces an effect or result”.
It is unfortunate, but our industry suffers from unscrupulous people taking advantage of other people who do not always critical thinkers. Think MLM SCAMS.
As gasoline prices continue to rise the MLM gasoline scams keep showing up on the seen.
One site that I use for information on scams and wrong doing in our industry is MLM WatchDog. Rod Cook, who owns this site, just happens to have been put into a position where he had to learn about the legal vs. illegal in regards to marketing of gasoline additives.
