At Traffic Swarm, you click on peoples ads, see their site, stick around 20 seconds, repeat.

For me, my lead capture improved by 400% while using up a quarter of the clicks I used before.

The idea is to get credits by viewing other peoples sites so that you can have the other people at Traffic Swarm, click on your site.

Problem: If everyone is clicking just to gain credits, then your traffic is just traffic. Know one wants to look at your site.

But you probably know, if you are using Traffic Swarm, that once in a while a site catches your attention and you stop to check it out or get info to go back and look at it later. If nothing you are doing is working you may look at more sites in hope of finding something that will work for you.

If a site comes up and you have seen it 100 times or more, what are the chances that you will stop and take a look? Not much. You either see nothing that makes you want to investigate the site, or you have checked it out before or you think you have already checked it out.

But a site you have never seen, well that has a much better chance of getting your attention.

Knowing this, why would you keep promoting the same web page over and over. If you are like most people, you will be promoting the same page as many other people. So it’s not just your site people have seen but all the others just like yours.

So how do you fix this big problem? Easy, you create your own very simple page. I use Google Page Creator for this. It doesn’t get any simpler and it is free to use.

The page you create should be like a billboard. When you drive down the highway and see a billboard, you only have limited time to read it. They have to get the message to you quickly. It is the same thing here.

You give them your message with a link to your site that everyone else is advertising. So your message should be why they need to check out your web page when they click on it because as soon as they see your regular site, they will recognize it. They need a reason to check it out this time.

My tests at Traffic Swarm used up a quarter of the clicks per day that I usually used up. The reason is that when you have a page that no one else has, Traffic Swarm shows your site less than one that thousands of people may be using. So if those people are using 100 clicks each per day, you may only use 25.

At first glance your thought would be that with a quarter the people seeing your site, the fewer leads you will pick up. But instead you will find out that more people are taking an interest in your site. For me, my lead capture improved by 400% while using up a quarter of the clicks I used before.

It’s just a short video on how to use the share section at YouTube. It is a simple thing to do but all of the simple things is what adds up to make something big.

That’s why we always encourage you to take time choosing keywords for your videos. Share them with friends. Social Bookmark your videos. Post your videos to multiple hosts and bookmark from each. There are some real tricks too and we will cover some in the future.

These recorded calls are available to everyone using Mentoring For Free. For those of you who have not yet signed up for Mentoring For Free, you are missing out.

But I have some additional free information on generating leads at Direct Matches, so you will not be completely left out even though you have not taken my advice to get Mentoring For Free.

Remember that Direct Matches is my favorite Social Networking site. I have generated more high quality targeted leads from here than any other Social Networking site. And notice, I still share that info with anyone. If you don’t sign up at Mentoring For Free, so that you can gain access to all the training calls that Penny and I have done since January 2007, then you are way too successful to be reading this post. This site can be free but you get very limited free emails. Then there are a few more levels, $9.95 us, $19.95 us and $29.95 us, all monthly fees. I recommend the $9.95 us level. It will give you what you really need. The other levels add some features but mostly they are for people who are using Direct Matches as a business. Start by signing up for free, then choose your level later. You can always upgrade at any time so start inexpensively.

The site has many features that are very helpful such as you can post videos, send out emails to anyone on the site, add contacts, send out mass emails, post ads, post events, blog, participate in forums and you can create your profile.

A very important part of any social networking site is your profile. Some of the things you need to do are make sure you have a photo of yourself, information about you and why you are doing what you are doing. You never know who you will connect with because of you smile, your eyes, same number of kids or activities you love, where you live, or even where you grew up. So you need to put YOU out there.

Also you can have your email address, Skype id, phone number or whatever contact information you would like for everyone to see. It is important to have people get to know like and trust you.

You will find that most people using this site are currently in a network marketing company and trying to promote their company. Remember everyone thinks they have the best company, the best product, the best comp plan, and so you do get bombed with emails from people promoting. So unless you have something unique and that no one else has you may find it difficult to get people to look at what you promote. That of course is the same anywhere on the internet. Don’t worry. We will teach you how to get around that problem.

Social networking is about building relationships and seeing how you can mastermind together with like minded people. Not to push, push and push your opportunity.

I am there to offer help to people and I am not pushing an opportunity. In fact I don’t mention my company. I just offer free training and mentoring. People do not need another company. They need to learn what works in network marketing. They want to learn how to sponsor and to help those people sponsor. Rather than pushing an opportunity, I attract people who ask to join me. You probably would like to learn how to do that.

This amazes me, because Direct Matches has been my number one source of prospects for my network marketing business for over three years and I don’t promote my business to anyone there.

Many social networking sites have even been created to cater to network marketers.

There are free sites, paid sites and even sites that are social networking with an MLM comp plan attached.

And network marketers are trying to figure out how to prospect to network marketers at these sites. I hope your read this whole post because I have had tremendous success prospecting at these sites and I have shown many others how to do it but most people I talk to outside of Mentoring For Free, are struggling at these same places.

Most people are failing miserably at their prospecting efforts on these sites. Most can not sponsor anyone into their companies with their approach and those who do can not keep them in their company for long.

There is a reason for this. Most network marketers believe that they are in the best company. Right? You wouldn’t knowingly choose the second best or third best company available. Right?

So what most people are doing is promoting their company directly to other network marketers who have a company and believe that theirs is the best. If you know the basics of marketing then you know this approach can not work well.

The whole idea of social networking sites is to bring people together to get acquainted. Not to sell to each other. Make friends. Show people what works for you. Let them show you what works for them. Your company has little or nothing to do with it.

What are you doing different with the other people on a social networking site than what you do with people on a leads list that you purchase? Maybe you recognize something similar. In both cases you start marketing right away to a person you have no relationship with. The method doesn’t work.

We have sites like Direct Matches and Adlandpro where the culture of market to everyone is mostly accepted. But if you realized how many people come to these sites, get their free profile and then leave quickly, never to return, you might be amazed. The marketing tactics are running off the new people right away, your best prospects.

I have the numbers on Direct Matches. There you get a free profile, but it is basically worthless to you. You have to become a paying member to make use of the site. So here we can just check to see how many actually become paying members and how long do they stay on as a paying member.

Well less than 10% ever become paying members and the paying members keep paying for fewer than two months. What that tells me is that they can not find value in the site. They don’t know how to use it to prospect. They don’t like having everyone selling to them. And they don’t see any chance to make the MLM pay plan work for them.

This amazes me, because Direct Matches has been my number one source of prospects for my network marketing business for over three years and I don’t promote my business to anyone there.

Now there are lots of sites similar to Direct Matches. Some are free, some have a cost. This type of site will let you get away with more than others. They are used to everyone pushing their own MLM program at everyone else so you don’t have to be significantly different to have success prospecting. The one thing you have to do is to quit promoting your company. When you do that, you can generate leads very quickly.

Then there are sites like MySpace, Facebook, Ryze and Linkedin. These sites are very different from the social networking sites like Direct Matches where almost everyone is a network marketer.

These other sites take more time to build relationships. It is a process. You have to locate the network marketers or those who may take a look at doing network marketing. Then start creating relationships. Never pitch your business to them. I have people in the system doing very well at this. It works.

As social networking evolves, you will have to evolve with it. Pitching your company to people you don’t know doesn’t work now and will only get harder. Fortunately, what we teach you to do with these same people does work and you can learn it and use it too. YouTube calls it Video Annotations. You can put multiple annotations on any of your YouTube videos and add clickable links to other YouTube Videos, Channels, or Search Results.
