Today is Saturday. That means team call time. When it came time for the training part of the call, it was on MLM duplication. Now everyone in network marketing talks about having a duplicable system, but when you look at their systems, what they are duplicating the most is failure.

Don Standard, Penny Dude, and Michael DlouhyJust look at the failure rate in this business. The only thing duplicable about making a list of friends and family is that anyone can make the list. The only thing duplicable about buying leads is that all it takes is money or credit.

Network Marketing is about relationships. It is not about selling. It is not a numbers game. When your system includes selling and/or tells you this is a numbers game you will duplicate more failure than success.

In today’s team training we talked about our duplicable system. We interviewed people using our system, then we interviewed the person under them and then the next one down and the next and the next. And guess what. Everyone of them uses the system. There were some that made changes and they had no success with a revised system, but when they came back to the original system they had success too.

Every person described how they came in and how they teach others who came in. Every single person joined because of the people. Many of them didn’t even know what company the people were in until they said, “I want to join you in your business”. This is a relationship business.

Don Standard and Penny DudeThe biggest struggles that anyone had with the system was learning to get rid of their agenda. That’s right! Get rid of the agenda to have that person Join your business. Stop thinking about how soon can you pitch them on your company. It’s not the company they are joining, it is you and the team. And when you finally get rid of the agenda people want to join you. Your agenda to get them into your company will just push them away.

Later I will do a post about advertising your business to other network marketers. It doesn’t work well but I bet you already know that, you just don’t know why.

Drop the agenda if you want MLM success. Wouldn’t you really rather have people asking to join you in your company than you trying to convince them to do so. Convincing people is not duplicable.

Tom \Does the system really work if there is no agenda. Well all I can say is that in my company, our group uses such a system. We regularly dominate company awards. Monthly we make up an average of 80% of the people in the builders circle, recognition for sponsoring. We dominate the annual awards at convention for sponsoring, and largest volume teams for each business level. We have over 80% of all the qualifiers for special vip recognition at the next convention. We dominate the group of leaders qualifying for the company’s annual leadership trip.

And everyone tells us, the system is too slow. They believe you need to get people in quick, get them excited and going. They say the 97% failure rate systems work. They do by the way, just not for the new person who is only a number. And yet this slow building system is out running all of them and building teams that duplicate at all levels.
