Hint: Anybody can complicate this business, but it takes a genius to simplify it.

One of the keys to success in sponsoring people who sponsor people is to have a proven duplicable system.

I have heard that since the first day I got into network marketing 29 years ago and almost every system that I have ever looked at has only duplicated failure.

The reason is that most of the trainers are teaching people to be just like them. Get out of your comfort zone and do what they did for success. These same people never got out of their comfort zone. They are telling people to do something they never did and they wonder why it doesn’t work the same for everyone else.

Simplified duplication is key to success.

When you have a prospect, what ever it is that you do to find them and sponsor them must be simple and duplicable. Those prospects watch what you do and they ask themselves, “Can I Do That?

So you have to be the person that does not do anything special with your own prospect. If you show them how much you know about this business, they are thinking, “I can not do that.” You lose. Why would they join you if they can’t do what you do to succeed.

Instead, play dumb. You want to show them how little they need to know, not how much. When they ask you a question, you say, “Well I don’t know the answer but I can put you on the phone with my sponsor and he can answer all your questions.”

Remember that 97% of everyone in network marketing is struggling. This approach works. Sure, there will be occasions where you talk to an experienced successful network marketer and this approach would be wrong but you better know your stuff if you change your approach.

Now who makes the least in network marketing?

The Expert.

No matter how much you know, you can’t be the expert with someone who can not duplicate the same thing.

You can’t be the sponsoring expert and expect to sponsor any of the 97% of people struggling to make this work.

You can’t be the product expert and expect anyone you train to do retail sales.

It always has to be simple; It always has to be duplicable.

Guys like my mentor, Tom “Big Al” Schreiter, know how to simplify for duplication.
