The Law of Influence

Your influence is determined by

how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.

This law is an amazing way to help others and help yourself at the same time. But also takes alot to improve yourself to practice this in life.

See once you learn to look after other peoples needs before your need and not to expect to have the same in return. Things will really start to happen for you.

In the book Sam talks about forgetting the fifty-fifty proposition that it is a losing proposition. You need to give 100% and make your win about the other person.

See “your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first.”

What ends up happening is once you learn to place other peoples before yours, your interests will always be met.

So what do you think creates influence??

The Law of Value

Your true worth is determined by

how much more you give in value than you take in payment.

As I said in my post with the interview with Bob Burg, the co-author of The Go-Giver, I will be continuing on writing about each one of the Five Laws of Stratospheric Success.

I am going to go into depth of what it really means so you can understand it better.

In the book Ernesto talks about how he makes his little hot dog stand into this empire of Restaurants. Pindar explains how Ernesto would remember special details of each of his customers who would come to his hot dog stand. He made them feel very special and who does not want to feel special and appreciated.

He created this respect for each one of his customer and what happened is that each of these customers passed on the word about his business. Which made his hot dog stand keep growing and growing and it just kept expanding until……

The point is you give more value than you get paid for. You do this because you love to give and it is your way of life not because you have to. Then what you will see happen, is you start to have profitable things happening for you.

You are not really thinking of the results that will happen for you, they just seem to happen. You expect a return but you don’t expect it from any particular source.

If you look around, many of the very wealthy, have a true passion for giving and were not so concerned about what they were getting. Just take a look at history!
