How I Found My Accountability Partner and MLM Success

Accontability Partnering can be the difference in your MLM Success.

I found my accountability partner at my company convention. We had spoke most of the weekend and got to know each other. We found out we both had different personalities and different skills we could bring to each other and our teams. We are not on the same team and have no financial rewards to work together. Don’t choose someone in your upline or downline. Go sideline.

By different personalities, I mean, from the Colors To Success, he is a green and I am a Blue, Yellow. We teach this at Mentoring For Free. This is life changing training that will help put your sponsoring into high gear.

Before we left convention we made a commitment to each other that we would be there for each other helping out daily. Coming up with ideas, making sure we stick to our daily routines, help to boost each other when we needed too, congratulate each other on or accomplishments and hold each other accountable each and every day.

Find someone you are comfortable with. Someone who is as committed to building a business as you are. Someone who will be there for you and help you set goals and stick with them. Someone who can review your work and give constructive criticism that helps you.

Do keep in mind that if the partnership does not grow and benefit both of you, that you need to be able to break it off and go find a new partner. I have only had to find my partner once and I feel we compliment each other. We make a great team!

You may have already guessed that my accountability partner is Don Standard. He is also my partner in this blog.

Positive Thoughts For MLM Success, Ask The Right Questions

How do we move ahead in life if our minds are filled with negative thoughts?

Don Standard and myself, Penny Dude, had Keith Schreiter as our guest on our team call last night. Keith did an amazing training on the subconscious mind and how we can program our minds. We get to choose what we input into our minds; positives or negatives. The mind believes what we tell it to believe.

The big part I came away with was that we need to ask the right questions.

Meaning, how do we ask these questions. Do we ask in a negative sentence?? Positive sentence??

We can ask these questions to others like our upline but we can also ask the questions to ourselves. The reason we ask ourselves is our mind is already looking for those answers to the question.

Negative: Why are people quitting my business?

Your mind will be running through all kinds of answers like it was your fault, you didn’t do enough, I didn’t send so enough time with them these as just a few things.

Positive: How can I get my people more active?

These positive questions have your mind looking for answers to help, like get them on more training calls, send them off an email to encourage them, get them to events.

I am giving some more examples and would like you to write down what you think of when you read each question. See if this all makes sense.

Negative: How come everyone I talk to is so negative?

Positive: How can I attract more positive people?

Nagative: How come everyone I talk to has no money?

Positive: How can I attract more people who see the big picture and want to have finacial freedom just like me?

MLM Lead Generation Using Adlandpro – Hubpages

This is the title of my Hubpage that I created on this topic.

Hubpages is similar to Squidoo. If you don’t know about these to sites, then stay plugged into the MLM Compass blog to learn what they are and how to use them to build your business.

Penny Dude and myself, Don Standard, have done several trainings on using Adlandpro. If you are a free user of Mentoring For Free, you can have access to all of our recorded training calls.

The last training we did on using Adlandpro covered four weeks so we went into great detail and it is all recorded on four calls that cover more than four hours. This one is great for newbies. Direct Matches Help At Squidoo

Recently I did a post here on Social Networking sites and mentioned that Direct Matches is my favorite one.

Then today, Penny Dude, did a post on Direct Matches. She noted that we have some great recorded calls on how to generate leads at Direct Matches. These recorded calls are available to everyone using Mentoring For Free. For those of you who have not yet signed up for Mentoring For Free, you are missing out.

But I have some additional free information on generating leads at Direct Matches, so you will not be completely left out even though you have not taken my advice to get Mentoring For Free.

Later on we will do a post on using Squidoo. Yep, I have got to say it again. The free recordings on how to use Squidoo already exist at Mentoring For Free.

But last year I did a Squidoo lens on Direct Matches. So if you don’t know about these two sites, then here is your chance to see how I used Squidoo to teach people how to use Direct Matches. Direct Matches

There are a lot of different social networking sites available on the internet. One of my favorites is Direct Matches and I have been using Direct Matches for over two years now. I am having lots of success in my business by helping others on this site with their internet advertising skills.

This site can be free but you get very limited free emails. Then there are a few more levels, $9.95 us, $19.95 us and $29.95 us, all monthly fees. I recommend the $9.95 us level. It will give you what you really need. The other levels add some features but mostly they are for people who are using Direct Matches as a business. Start by signing up for free, then choose your level later. You can always upgrade at any time so start inexpensively.

The site has many features that are very helpful such as you can post videos, send out emails to anyone on the site, add contacts, send out mass emails, post ads, post events, blog, participate in forums and you can create your profile.

A very important part of any social networking site is your profile. Some of the things you need to do are make sure you have a photo of yourself, information about you and why you are doing what you are doing. You never know who you will connect with because of you smile, your eyes, same number of kids or activities you love, where you live, or even where you grew up. So you need to put YOU out there.

Also you can have your email address, Skype id, phone number or whatever contact information you would like for everyone to see. It is important to have people get to know like and trust you.

You will find that most people using this site are currently in a network marketing company and trying to promote their company. Remember everyone thinks they have the best company, the best product, the best comp plan, and so you do get bombed with emails from people promoting. So unless you have something unique and that no one else has you may find it difficult to get people to look at what you promote. That of course is the same anywhere on the internet. Don’t worry. We will teach you how to get around that problem.

Social networking is about building relationships and seeing how you can mastermind together with like minded people. Not to push, push and push your opportunity.

I am there to offer help to people and I am not pushing an opportunity. In fact I don’t mention my company. I just offer free training and mentoring. People do not need another company. They need to learn what works in network marketing. They want to learn how to sponsor and to help those people sponsor. Rather than pushing an opportunity, I attract people who ask to join me. You probably would like to learn how to do that.

I do a training call for Mentoring For Free on Thursdays at 3pm EST with my partner, Don Standard from Houston, TX, and we teach many different ways of advertising. We have done a few calls on Direct Matches and they are archived. We walk you through setting everything up from start to finish and we also keep up on the new changes that come along. MLM Lead Generation On Social Networking Sites

MLM lead generation on social networking sites is booming, for those of us that know how anyway.

This amazes me, because Direct Matches has been my number one source of prospects for my network marketing business for over three years and I don’t promote my business to anyone there.

Many social networking sites have even been created to cater to network marketers.

There are free sites, paid sites and even sites that are social networking with an MLM comp plan attached.

And network marketers are trying to figure out how to prospect to network marketers at these sites. I hope your read this whole post because I have had tremendous success prospecting at these sites and I have shown many others how to do it but most people I talk to outside of Mentoring For Free, are struggling at these same places.

Most people are failing miserably at their prospecting efforts on these sites. Most can not sponsor anyone into their companies with their approach and those who do can not keep them in their company for long.

There is a reason for this. Most network marketers believe that they are in the best company. Right? You wouldn’t knowingly choose the second best or third best company available. Right?

So what most people are doing is promoting their company directly to other network marketers who have a company and believe that theirs is the best. If you know the basics of marketing then you know this approach can not work well.

The whole idea of social networking sites is to bring people together to get acquainted. Not to sell to each other. Make friends. Show people what works for you. Let them show you what works for them. Your company has little or nothing to do with it.

What are you doing different with the other people on a social networking site than what you do with people on a leads list that you purchase? Maybe you recognize something similar. In both cases you start marketing right away to a person you have no relationship with. The method doesn’t work.

We have sites like Direct Matches and Adlandpro where the culture of market to everyone is mostly accepted. But if you realized how many people come to these sites, get their free profile and then leave quickly, never to return, you might be amazed. The marketing tactics are running off the new people right away, your best prospects.

I have the numbers on Direct Matches. There you get a free profile, but it is basically worthless to you. You have to become a paying member to make use of the site. So here we can just check to see how many actually become paying members and how long do they stay on as a paying member.

Well less than 10% ever become paying members and the paying members keep paying for fewer than two months. What that tells me is that they can not find value in the site. They don’t know how to use it to prospect. They don’t like having everyone selling to them. And they don’t see any chance to make the MLM pay plan work for them.

This amazes me, because Direct Matches has been my number one source of prospects for my network marketing business for over three years and I don’t promote my business to anyone there.

Now there are lots of sites similar to Direct Matches. Some are free, some have a cost. This type of site will let you get away with more than others. They are used to everyone pushing their own MLM program at everyone else so you don’t have to be significantly different to have success prospecting. The one thing you have to do is to quit promoting your company. When you do that, you can generate leads very quickly.

Then there are sites like MySpace, Facebook, Ryze and Linkedin. These sites are very different from the social networking sites like Direct Matches where almost everyone is a network marketer.

These other sites take more time to build relationships. It is a process. You have to locate the network marketers or those who may take a look at doing network marketing. Then start creating relationships. Never pitch your business to them. I have people in the system doing very well at this. It works.

As social networking evolves, you will have to evolve with it. Pitching your company to people you don’t know doesn’t work now and will only get harder. Fortunately, what we teach you to do with these same people does work and you can learn it and use it too. Facebook And How A Professional Network Marketer Uses It

MLM Success Will Come To You When You Drop Your Agenda

Today is Saturday. That means team call time. When it came time for the training part of the call, it was on MLM duplication. Now everyone in network marketing talks about having a duplicable system, but when you look at their systems, what they are duplicating the most is failure.

Just look at the failure rate in this business. The only thing duplicable about making a list of friends and family is that anyone can make the list. The only thing duplicable about buying leads is that all it takes is money or credit.

Network Marketing is about relationships. It is not about selling. It is not a numbers game. When your system includes selling and/or tells you this is a numbers game you will duplicate more failure than success.

In today’s team training we talked about our duplicable system. We interviewed people using our system, then we interviewed the person under them and then the next one down and the next and the next. And guess what. Everyone of them uses the system. There were some that made changes and they had no success with a revised system, but when they came back to the original system they had success too.

Every person described how they came in and how they teach others who came in. Every single person joined because of the people. Many of them didn’t even know what company the people were in until they said, “I want to join you in your business”. This is a relationship business.

The biggest struggles that anyone had with the system was learning to get rid of their agenda. That’s right! Get rid of the agenda to have that person Join your business. Stop thinking about how soon can you pitch them on your company. It’s not the company they are joining, it is you and the team. And when you finally get rid of the agenda people want to join you. Your agenda to get them into your company will just push them away.

Later I will do a post about advertising your business to other network marketers. It doesn’t work well but I bet you already know that, you just don’t know why.

Drop the agenda if you want MLM success. Wouldn’t you really rather have people asking to join you in your company than you trying to convince them to do so. Convincing people is not duplicable.

Does the system really work if there is no agenda. Well all I can say is that in my company, our group uses such a system. We regularly dominate company awards. Monthly we make up an average of 80% of the people in the builders circle, recognition for sponsoring. We dominate the annual awards at convention for sponsoring, and largest volume teams for each business level. We have over 80% of all the qualifiers for special vip recognition at the next convention. We dominate the group of leaders qualifying for the company’s annual leadership trip.

And everyone tells us, the system is too slow. They believe you need to get people in quick, get them excited and going. They say the 97% failure rate systems work. They do by the way, just not for the new person who is only a number. And yet this slow building system is out running all of them and building teams that duplicate at all levels.
